Neues Schloss Tylsen in der Altmark<\/b><\/p>
Das \u201eNeue Schloss\u201c Tylsen (auch Tilsen) wurde von Thomas von dem Knesebeck im Renaissancestil erbaut. Es \u00fcberstand alle gro\u00dfen Kriege \u2013 auch die Wirren des Zweiten Weltkriegs \u2013 unbeschadet, wurde nach Kriegsende allerdings mutwillig zerst\u00f6rt.<\/p>
Der umfassendste Eingriff in die verbliebene aber immer noch reiche Baukultur der Altmark ist die Enteignungswelle nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg und die anschliessende weitgehende Vernachl\u00e4ssigung der Geb\u00e4ude. Der in der Nachkriegszeit fortschreitende Verfall der ostdeutschen Kulturdenkm\u00e4ler war beabsichtigt. Mit der Aktion \u2018Krieg den Pal\u00e4sten\u2019, so der inoffizielle Slogan, begann eine beabsichtigte Zerst\u00f6rung der Herrenh\u00e4user in Ostdeutschland. Unter dem Vorwand, Baumaterial aller Art f\u00fcr Neubauernstellen gewinnen zu wollen, hatten der Parteivorstand der SED und die Landesregierungen in den vierziger Jahren die Weisung herausgegeben, m\u00f6glichst viele Gutsh\u00e4user und Schl\u00f6sser zu schleifen.<\/p>
Vor Ort findet ihr die Ruine genau dieses Schlosses. Es kann von au\u00dfen besichtigt werden und l\u00e4dt zu einem sch\u00f6nen Spaziergang ein. Es gibt auch einen Spielplatz.
